Last updated: 23 October 2026

This policy explains how GPS Plastering Services (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal information when you use gpsplastering.com or contact us.

Who we are

GPS Plastering Services, 1 St Annes Rd, Chorley, Lancashire, PR6 0PS. We are the data controller for the information you give us. Contact: gpsplastering1@gmail.com or 07890 094101.

What we collect

• Contact and quote form: your name, surname, telephone number, email address and the message you write.
• Phone, WhatsApp and email: whatever details you choose to share when you contact us directly.
• Technical data: your IP address and basic browser information, collected by our website host and by Google reCAPTCHA to keep the site secure and block spam.

Why we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange site visits, prepare quotes and carry out any work you ask us to do. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business and website. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

• Google: form messages are delivered to our Gmail inbox, and Google reCAPTCHA checks form submissions for spam. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Our website hosting provider, which stores the website and processes data on our behalf.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legally recognised safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. If we carry out work for you, we keep customer and job records for as long as required for accounting, tax and guarantee purposes, then delete them.

Cookies

This website only uses cookies that are needed for it to work and to protect our contact form from spam (Google reCAPTCHA). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, such as the contact form, may not work properly.

Links to other websites

Our site links to Facebook and WhatsApp. Those services have their own privacy policies, which we don’t control.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. To make a request, email or call us using the details above. We’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
